Tricky situation!

As the Author I can simply cause the Dodo Birds to disappear!   That would feel like a easy quick solution!  Eh, but these are Dodo Birds?  Yes!  Since they are extinct now then they may not even exist in a fictional world?  But anything can happen in a fictional world!  Even fiction worlds have their own unique physics?  Yes therefore Alice is in a conundrum, darn!
