The rising city

Really never gives up

Never bends its knees that far

It is much stronger than it seems

Because it knows it's Destiny

As it has nobility and honor

Designed within it's magnificent structures

Many that don't get bulldozed

As the will of the people

In monuments and graffiti

That this hurt city is rising

And will return to glory

So the rising city climbs

Like no other city can

Letting the world know

We are still proud Americans.
