Idea of reverse logic on the word belief likely correct.

What if saying you believe something in words or letters in fact sounds more like doubt than belief.  Belief then is more likely in action within silence.  A value or tradition is a different thing.  A belief is not explainable and so language can not deal with it.  A belief is more like a secret because the believer is not sure this belief fit in to society well.  Perhaps you might sound kinda nuts.  Yet that could mean we are all nuts with interesting hidden stuff.  Being human is interesting on many levels.  Beliefs tend to be interesting.  For example I met a man who believed he was a cow channeler.  Now I can't really say he isn't.  I'm into giving him the thumbs up about this.  Just as long as he helps the cows out and he is making the world a better place.  He could have kept his belief to himself and not have to face my reaction or likely inability to believe as well in this.  Again the futility of telling people most secrets like these unless you really have a fellow believer.  But don't count on it unless you and that person is heavily brain washed.  It is often a highly personal thing.  If crazy than you don't need followers.  Belief seems to help give luck sometimes if the belief is genuine.
