Owls.

I know that owl figures are popular all around the world in wood, glass, plastic.   You name there is some kind of owl out there being made right now in some third world slave factory right now.   Owls mean two things.   Either the person loves they way they look and wants to become more wise or there is the other possibility.   The person is into aggression.   There is no other animal in the world that has mastered aggression like the owl.   With it's eyes that can see in the dark it is formidable.   Perhaps they have the best vision of any animal.   Yet unlike hawks and eagle owls like to take it easy a lot.   Roosting on a tree and being content is what they seem to like best.   That is why people have considered that while the owl is just sitting there he/she is also meditating and thinking since not much energy is being put into flying where does that energy go.   These are huge predators with great strength.  I had the luck of seeing one close up at a nature center once.   I marveled at how large it's eyes really were for such a little guy.   He was so interesting and kind of cute that I couldn't help staring.   Then the bird got nervous or something and the person who worked there said this bird does not like to be stared at.   So perhaps owls are not attention seeking in the least, but are more likely in feeling as comfortable as they can, except when they happen to spot a mouse below and then they do what they do best.   I have seen images of this action on the TV and it is shocking.   The owl moves it's wings into an unusual position that allows it to catapult very fast onto it's target.    The huge talons go around it and quickly it is over.   It returns to it's roost which might have four or five baby owls it.   Which I believe the owl gives much of the food to.   I have heard one say it's call:  Who?  Who? Who?   My answer is just a shrug of my shoulders.   How can anyone answer that question.   Perhaps it's future ex-girl friend might understand.
